Activities Available:
Ice Driving
Learn how to handle a car in ice and snow conditions. You begin with drive handling exercises on a slalom course then progress to the circle tracks. Finally you have tuition on the ice and snow tracks with your instructor as a co-pilot.
Ice Karting
Choose from Cross Karts or Go Karts then the fun on the track begins! Everyone gets the chance to practice then the race between the 5 Karts on the track begins. The winners will be awarded on a snow podium with sparkling wine.
Snowmobile Safari
Once you receive your equipment, you will have tuition on how to handle your snowmobile before setting off on the safari of your choice. This can be anything from a short safari lasting a couple of hours up to a 2 day safari where you overnight in a cabin or hotel by the lake. The snowmobiles can also be the mode of transport to and from other activities.
Husky Safari
No visit to Finland is complete without experiencing a sled ride pulled by your team of Huskies. It is such a contrast to other forms of transport and gives you an insight into the strength, loyalty and intelligence of these animals.
Toboggan Run
Why not try one of the longest tobbogan runs – it is 1.2 km in length! Take the chairlift up to the top then enjoy the scenery as you speed down the route through the trees and over 2 bridges.
Reindeer Safari
Visit the Reindeer Farm and try your hand at lassoing a reindeer. You get the chance to take charge of a reindeer pulled sled and if you complete the route, you will earn your reindeer driving licence – international and valid for 5 years!
Skiing/Snowboarding
There are several ski slopes which are an ideal place to learn to ski or snowboard. Lessons can be arranged along with boot and ski hire.
Smoke Sauna and Plunge Pool
A smoke sauna is something that cannot be described but has to be experienced!
Why not try the World's Largest Smoke Sauna beautifully situated by a frozen pond overlooking the Igloo Village with room for over 100 people in two separate saunas. Each sauna has its own relaxation room with an open fireplace, showers and WC, able to cater for large groups. The large terrace adjoining the two saunas is a great place for cooling off and in the winter you can even take a dip in a hole in the ice – a must for those wanting the full experience of this Finnish form of relaxation..
