The unique thrill of flying amazing aeroplanes with former Red Arrows and RAF combat trained flying instructors is guaranteed to provide an exhilarating, unforgettable experience for any corporate event.
The AircraftThe bulldog is a former military training aircraft used by 10 Air Forces around the world. It offers side by side seating, has mid level aerobatics capability and is a joy to fly.
The Extra 300 is a state of the art high performance aerobatics machine and the flying equivalent to a Formula 1 racing car. The passenger sits in the front seat with their flying instructor in the back. This aircraft was designed for fun!
Activities Available:
All flights start with an introduction to the effects of control – how an aircraft flies before moving on to the fun bit. One thing that you must do is go for a dvd of the whole flight from 2 cameras inside the aircraft. The one at the back shows what you actually see and then there is the “Hero-cam” which is fixed on you and records all your facial expressions and sounds during the whole experience – absolutely priceless!
Aerobatics
You get instruction on how to fly aerobatics manoeuvres (loops, rolls, stall turns) with guests encouraged to try this for themselves. Experienced thrill seekers can take things to the max with some extreme aerobatics.
Top Gun Flight
This is a mission to Shoot the Bandit. Flying in pairs, the objective is to tail chase around the skies, get the enemy in your sights, press the trigger and shout “Guns, guns, guns!” into the microphone. Then it is time to swap leads and try to evade those guns.
Air Race
This is where you get the opportunity to participate in an air race, competing against other pilots with little or no flying experience! After a thorough briefing and a practice flight in the morning where you learn to fly the cutting edge Extra300 raceplane and fly tight corners, you will prepare for the big race itself. At the start you will dive down to low level at speeds in excess of 200mph, select ''smoke on'' and storm across the start. You will then need to pass through a series of simulated gates at high speed either with your wings exactly level, or at 90 degrees – in ''knife-edge'' flight!
Complete Activity Day
For larger groups, we can arrange for your day to also include scenic helicopter flights around the area or activities on the ground such as hovercraft experiences at the airfield. The restaurant area has space to provide conference facilities if you need to incorporate a meeting into the day or for a presentation.
Air Displays
These pilots are so flexible that if you can’t come to them then they will come to you providing there is a user friendly airfield nearby. The whole event can take place off site or if you want to create a bit of a stir then why not arrange for your own air display to launch that all important new product.
Into the Night
If you want the party to continue after your fantastic experience then we can arrange for an overnight stay nearby. There is lots of choice of accommodation and we can certainly advise you on the best places to fit your needs.
